What to Bring With You
To help your visit go smoothly, we ask that you bring:
- A photo ID

- Completed new patient forms, if available
- A list of current medications or relevant medical history
If you’re unsure what you need or have questions before your visit, our team is happy to help.

When You Arrive
When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by our front desk team and checked in. We’ll review your paperwork, confirm insurance details if needed, and answer any initial questions.
Our office is designed to feel relaxed and welcoming, giving you time to settle in before your appointment begins.

Going Back to the Treatment Room
Once you’re brought back, we take time to get to know you. We’ll review your health history, talk through any concerns or goals you have, and explain what to expect before we begin.
Nothing happens without your understanding. If you need a break, more explanation, or extra time, just let us know.

During Your First Checkup
Your first checkup focuses on getting a clear picture of your oral health. This typically includes a comprehensive exam, digital X-rays when appropriate, and an oral cancer screening. A cleaning may also be completed depending on your needs.
Dr. Anderson will review what we see and explain everything in plain language, so you understand where things stand and why it matters.

Treatment Planning and Next Steps
If treatment is recommended, we take time to walk through your options. Not every patient needs the same plan, and there is often more than one way to move forward.
We’ll discuss priorities, timing, and costs clearly so you can decide what feels right for you. Whether care is needed now, phased over time, or simply monitored, decisions are always made together.

A Thoughtful Start to Your Care
Your first visit is about more than exams and X-rays. It’s about feeling respected, informed, and comfortable in your dental home.
We look forward to welcoming you and helping you take the next step toward confident, dependable dental care.
